WILL PATRICK

Will Patrick is Cavalry Strategies’ Executive Vice President. Will provides strategic leadership in support of client services and operational management. He is focused on driving results with respect to media and communications, including campaign initiatives, earned media exposure, public relations positioning, messaging frameworks, high-impact communications plans, and continuous evaluation based on performance, feedback and evolving conditions.

Will previously served as a senior policy advisor for Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia, and deputy communications director for former Florida CFO and current U.S. congressman Jimmy Patronis. He also worked for former Education Commissioners Manny Diaz, Jr. and Richard Corcoran at the Florida Department of Education, serving in the roles of deputy communications director, interim communications director, and a deputy director in the Department’s top policy office. In these roles, Will worked closely with staff from the Executive Office of Governor Ron DeSantis. Will’s extensive background in department-level communications and policy development offer a dynamic skillset for effectively achieving client objectives.

Originally from Sarasota, Will was a longtime journalist and prominent ghostwriter prior to his tenure in state government. In addition to authoring hundreds of news articles, Will has ghostwritten three full-length books for two separate New York Times bestselling authors. Will earned a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College, City University of New York, graduating magna cum laude, and lives in Tallahassee with his wife and three young children.
